The ground around Rea   Bridge car park has unfortunately begun to subside and the bank there is at risk of falling into the canal. This means that it isn’t safe for any cars as the ground is continuously moving. Our engineers are currently working up a repair plan, but until then the car park will remain closed. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that it will re-open before the end of the work at Sellars bridge. (Pilot Bridge)

It is unfortunate timing on this, but due to the scale of the Rea repair, it is not a quick one. Hopefully as we are a third of the way through the Sellars closure the impact won’t be too large.
